A small bakery at night. One lit window with bread in it, an open sign, shutters down either side.

Imperfekt / Website design and development

We build websites for small businesses.

We are Joshua Park and Skanda Athreya, two high school students. We build your homepage first, then you decide.

02 What we do

Built by hand,
one at a time

Why a sunflower

Think of it as your website

Every site starts as a blank page. The first marks are the design. The spiral is the build. The finished flower means your words are in. When it lifts off the page, your site is live.

Scroll to draw it.

  1. DesignLaid out around what you sell.
  2. BuildWritten by hand, so it stays small and quick.
  3. WordsWe can draft the text if you want.
  4. LaunchDomain, hosting and email, set up for you.

03 How we work

First we ask
what you sell

(how it starts) Then who buys it, and what you want them to do. The layout comes out of those answers.

Opening hours and what a shop sells, hand painted on its window.
A shop already knows how to say this. It is written on the glass.

04 Speed

Under a second
on a phone

Keep scrolling. →

A man under an umbrella checks his phone on a wet pavement outside a shop.

Someone is looking this up from the pavement, on a phone, in the rain. That is the machine we are building for.

What that
gets you

  1. Under 1sTypical load on a phone
  2. No pluginsLess to break or keep updated
  3. On real phonesWe test on handsets, not just a laptop
  4. YoursYou own the code and the domain

05 The offer

A demo first.
You pay nothing.

Ask for a demo

About a week. If you don't want it, keep it anyway.

06 Range

A bakery and a barber
need opposite websites

  1. BakeryMenu, hours, and where to park

  2. FloristOrders before ten, out the same day

  3. BarberBooking, and almost nothing else

  4. WorkshopPhotographs of the actual work

  5. CafeOpening hours that are never wrong

  6. Repair shopServices, and how long they take

07 After launch

We watch it
for a month

A sorry we're closed sign on a shop door, above a handwritten list of opening hours.
A shop window still lit behind a locked security gate at night.
An illuminated open sign in a shop doorway.

(after) The shop closes for the night. The website does not. Anything that breaks in the first month, we fix. After that, email us, or run it yourself and we will show you how.
